Struck by Lightning, drowned, and shot. I had the best day yesterday. From there we drove the Jeep down the Natchez Trace until I saw a good place to go off road.
As I drive along the country lane where I now live, I see hillside after hillside painted gold by these beautiful flowers that some ancestral neighbor thoughtfully planted in her yard or garden. Even the shoulders of our interstate highway is covered in blooms to mark where the making of that road took away someones homesite.
