Monday, November 23, 2009. I had a good conversation with one of my close friends today, and I found something interesting in our exchange. She puts her foot down and gets respect, and yet people tend to see her as mild or quiet. I never put my foot down, and so people tend to like me- but I am sure they secretly wonder what I really stand for. For me, having someone sharing this time in my life- one of brutal reality and oft times heartbreaking m.

I first met Kevin while I worked for his dad, Bob Montgomery. My dad owns this place. 8216; kind of attitude. But I realized even then that Kevin was a good kid. A friend in need, and to help mobilize this group to right a horrible legal wrong done to Danny. I began to see him as a guy who cared about injustice done to others, and who was able to incentivize people to act. And so he once again launched a campaign.

These are just five examples of a figure of speech by which a locution produces an incongruous, seemingly self-contradictory effect. Or rather, an oxymoron.

This is, after all, my own journal of stitchiness. I hope to do better in the new year. Well, that and returning my library books on time. The latter is a constant goal for me.
