Tuesday, October 22, 2013. I have been so stressed lately that I am trying much unable to focus on much of anything. So many pretty projects lie waiting to be finished. So coming back to making these again, albeit in two different colorways was like seeing an old friend. And after a mad start at 2 in the morning, I was already well under way. All the way back in May of 2011, I started making them the first time. And then finished a scarf. Friday, October 18, 2013.

Then, during the summer, while we were at Eagle Bay, I imagined crocheting another one in sea colours. The sea down there is so beautiful, and sometimes the range of blues, greens and blue-greens in the water is unbelievable. Pillowslips and cushion covers are the best projects for me right now.

I feel like I start too many blog posts with these words but. Cleggy was offered some more work in Thailand so we all went with him! This time the work was in Chiang Mai in the north which was an area we were really keen to visit so it worked out perfectly. On the way there we had a six hour wait in Hong Kong so jumped on to the fast train in to the city for a wander around. A pear as an offering to the Gods. So most of the restaurants and markets were closed.
