Thursday, November 6, 2014. 20 month old Clara in the Fall. While Lucy was at preschool I took Clara outside for a little fall photo shoot today. Nevermind that she has a cold, and if I was a really spectacular mama I would have photo-shopped the crusties out from underneath her nose. Oh well! It just makes it more authentic. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Lucy Rose turned 4! Lucy got a Belle dress for her birthday from Papa and Nana, which is now the new dress-up dress of choice.

Sunday, July 25, 2010. I had the strangest encounter with a cat the other day. I had taken the elevator up to my floor at the hostel. Upon exiting I noticed an adorable black and white cat a few steps down the staircase.

Thoughts on the many things that shape my life. When I decided to revive this poor, neglected log, I had no idea that it has been almost four years exactly since my last post. A quick glance reveals that my life-change at that time was my almost all-consuming task of regaining my health and fitness. Both of those words, morbidly and obese, are quite disconcerting.
