The sun sets on the San Francisco bay on a Thursday evening. Spring was in the air on March 18 in San Francisco with high temperatures in the 80s. The Poughkeepsie Journal box on the streets by Marist College is empty at midnight. The Poughkeepsie Journal was founded in 1785 and is the oldest paper in New York State.
On Friday, April 30, friends, colleagues and students gathered to celebrate the career of Communications Professor Jim Fahey. President Dennis Murray spoke about his memories working with Fahey for over 20 years. Dr Murray honored Faheys 25 years of service to the college with a parting gift and wished him well in his second successful retirement. Fahey worked at IBM for nearly years before retiring and starting his second career at Marist.

0160;On Tuesday, April 28, in the Cabaret, The Marist College Praxis Project for Public Citizenship and Campus Ministry held a Haiti Solidarity to support the nation of Haiti, recovering from Januarys devastating earthquake.
Stonybrook Junior Chad Marshall makes a single base hit during Wednesdays game vs. Marist at the McCann Baseball Field. The Marist Red Foxes sit in their dugout between innings, while some warm up to bat. A Stonybrook player slides into home just as the Marist catcher is about to tap the plate. After a belabored call by the umpire, Stonybrook was given a run, but it would prove futile at the end. The Red Foxes overtook the Seawolves 9-3.
Marist College Junior, Allie Meyer, sits at the Germany table for Unity Day 2010. The event was held on the green in the center of campus on Wednesday, April 14. At the Germany table, visitors feasted on traditional German fare like sourdough pretzels and mini hot dogs. Two Marist students talk during a lull in visitors to their Mexico table. The table featured chips and salsa for visitors to enjoy.
