Wednesday, September 22, 2010. A Year and a Half. Is the length of time that has passed since I last posted. To me I can remember most of the summer though. It was a fun and busy one. I started off the summer with the Winterbottom. Most of the Fisher Clan at the Manti.

Our friend Chris Green throws a great Halloween party each year on his farm. He loves combining the two and sharing the celebration with many friends.

Monday, July 9, 2012. Joy Comes in the Morning. We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aid, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn. Today felt like a miracle. I woke with such joy. In my heart, such passion. To be alive and to move and to breathe. The last few months have involved me waking up, looking at the clock on my phone, and going back to sleep. Because there was seemingly nothing worth waking up for.
A tumult of emotions of turbulence, tender awareness and growth. I spent the majority of the day with my grandfather, my Gumbie, sorting through decades worth of accumulated papers, knick-knacks, pictures, and loot up in Vermont. Granted, Vermont was his second home, his vacation home, but for the last 5 years or so it has also been his primary residence during the fair-weather months.
