I have started tatting a doily with variegated cotton thread. Also tatted these laces for sarees. Tuesday, 13 February 2018. I have been playing around with different combination of stitches and counts. So far I am happy with the patterns. Tuesday, 6 February 2018. Before I sign off let me show my current tatting project.

It has been 12 wonderful weeks of embellishing a storybook of our choice. My choice was THE BEDSPREAD by Sylvia Fair. I did run my fingers over some of the areas embellished in the video to distinguish from what was already on the page. An embroidered door, a tiled welcome mat and a collaged tree with embroidered flowers.

Paper Stitches - Combining Mixed Media Paint Play with Contemporary Embroidery. Pages and Sidebar updated 5. What a mixture has happened since last writing. Most of it is general ups and downs of an artistic life, so not very exciting, but better in one hit. I was due to attend another Mixed Media course. but it was cancelled because of low turn out. But whoops I took my refunded class fee and spent it on art goodies. Bit of a spooky muzak. My mind sees things like a detailed.

After School, I was impressed how well their faces still looked. Apparently the both picked a lunch they could eat with out messing up their make up. Monday, February 27, 2012. I spent last week working on a project that a few of my family members helped me with. I was sitting in church last Sunday when the idea came to me.
