The lotus starts as a small flower at the bottom of a pond. It slowly grows up towards the waters surface continually moving towards the light. Once it comes to the surface the lotus begins to blossom and turn into a beautiful flower. The lotus can represent a hard time in life that has been overcome. Tuesday, March 15, 2011.
