Tales of a Magpie. January 01, 2012. Happy New Year to all! So far, it has been a very fine start to the year but I have to say, it has also been incredibly quiet. It was quiet last night here in our neighborhood in San Dimas but today, on our New Years outing, it was quiet, too. So, just what did we do with our day? I started out with some beading, always a fine thing, but I will post what I am up to on that in a few days. We decided to go out to lunch at a place by the little airport in LaVerne. How do I respond? Jesus said that we should turn the other cheek and pray for our enemies. It is so hard to do sometimes. Choosing to have grace and forgive those who wrong you can be difficult! Please pray for me. I want to be able to respond with the love Jesus showed us to have for others.
Wednesday, 3 June 2015. If you can go see them then do it. Mixture of humour, simple riffs and poetry get you through the short, sharp sets. I had seen them 3 times before the album came out so was mega excited for it. My stand out track is Sockets, but I love all of them.
