The vaulted wooden ceiling is to die for. Look at the spiral concrete stairway. Oriental rug, wall of books, and French wooden table with modern chairs make for a great dining area.
I did it again! This was my couch before I got crafty on Saturday. And this is after! 0160;I spent a an hour or two on Saturday making these throw pillows for the couch. The stripey ones are made form a thirfted scarf. I also finally made myself this coffee. Which was wonderfully easy, but a tad sma.
Saturday, December 7, 2013. I did my first craft bazaar today. I have been a crocheting fool. I was a little disappointed with the venue after I arrived. But I put a smile on, set up shop and saw it as a blessing for my first attempt. Not big, very manageable. I was pleased I took the time to make my booth feel like a little winter wonderland. It was a fast setup. It was a fast breakdown. I take pride in everything I make. I take time to make it right. I think that shows in my product.
Children are even as a branch that is fresh and green; they will grow up in whatever way you train them. Take the utmost care to give them high ideals and goals, so that once they come of age, they will cast their beams like brilliant candles on the world Bahaullah. Delicious as they come and the kids can help you bake them.

Tuesday, May 25, 2010. May, Mary, Mahem. Vintage Chicago finally surfaces again! I guess I was either happily busy with my life or just busy, or just uninspired. It takes quite a nudge to get me to sit down and compose an entry and given the fact that I have been mostly going through my day to day routine, it has left me sadly, uninspired.
